I forgot how much I love sitting in the woods. I haven’t done it in nearly 10 years. So with cold weather finally on the doorstep and all the hunters gone I grabbed my Mathews Archery, Inc. and Kristy Blakeslee and I went to the woods for a few days. We had a lot of great encounters over 4 days but when this old 8 pointer walked out I couldn’t hold off any longer. I forgot how great being in the woods was and to harvest an 8 pointer this big made it even better. Thanks Matthew Duff for the bow and for you and Buckmasters Jackie Bushman for convincing me to go deer hunting again. A very special thanks to my wife for running the camera and being there with me to share the moment.

Richard is always talking about TCO and his clients being a big family. Here is a perfect example of family. “Red” Jonathan Blackard has been hunting here since he was 19, 14 years later he’s bringing his 12 year old son Joey. Little Red was the first ever Turkey hunter to come to TCO.
