It's been a tough year, but I'm almost determined to get back to some serious crafting! My assistant ShiShi was put to sleep in February and I had a really hard time. My supervisor Budha didn't know what to do without her baby sister so I got her a 5 week old kitten in April. She wasn't amused. So crafting was problematic with a youngster around. Nephele (pictured here) is training to be my new assistant. She's super curious and is having a hard time distinguishing between help and hinder. But we are working on it. This is her idea of helping. Thankfully she stays away from the hot things, like the glue gun and candles. I'm working on something that I'm hoping will turn out as epic as I have imagined it to be. The glue gun sound be ready to go now, so I'm off to finish my project.

Some of you may not know that I lost my assistant ShiShi in February. It was heartbreaking and devastating. I still have the same supervisor, Budha. But this is my new assistant, Nephele, she isn't at all helpful. She is, however, very cute. And full of energy.
