The announcement I haven’t wanted to post……..

The Bear Cave will be permanently closing the doors by the end of the year. Financially it is not possible to continue operating the business. It was an easy decision financially but a very difficult decision emotionally. So the bears and I will wander off into the forest and pursue whatever adventure comes our way!

Remaining products in the store will be discounted! Good deals for any Christmas shoppers!

I would like to thank a few people that played a huge part in making the store as unique as it is. My wife, for her patience in me “trying to make it work”, Gordon Schmieder for all the hours and heart you so willingly gave, Lynne Cuddie Farrar for making your side of the store as amazing as it is, Wynnis for volunteering to be the official alcohol server on First Friday’s, and Wayne for being the official Bear Cave Musician!

NOTE: Due to a cell phone issue i had, I lost ALL my contact number’s. If any vendor’s have consignment items in my store I have no way of contacting you. You will need to contact me for your items.

Tomorrow for First Friday we will have not one but TWO musicians for your entertainment! Our regular Wayne Watanabe and a new guest Chris Bianco will be sharing their musical talents! Live music…..samples of Sundance Distilling will be offered…..not enough!!??…… Yum Num's Bakery will offering samples of her “Good Old Fashioned Baked Goods”! And to top it all off…….Aurora will be selling her lemonade out front!

The Grants Pass & Josephine County Chamber of Commerce Downtown Wine Stroll returns this Saturday! The valley’s premier wine walking tour is taking place May 10th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Bring Mom and friends for a Mother’s Day weekend of wine, shopping, and fun.

This popular event brings wineries, eateries and vendors all together in downtown businesses; creating a unique experience where participants leisurely stroll from business to business, sampling great wines, delicious food, all while taking in all the local wares.
