Dear friends, I'm writing to sadly announce that Pack Elephant's journey has come to an end, and we'll be taking our last gift box orders on April 15, 2024.

Creating an elevated unboxing experience that showcases our prized community of small businesses is core to the mission of Pack Elephant, and we're forever grateful for your trust in us to help elevate your gift giving experience. Your support means everything, and I would not have come this far without you - our wonderful community!

Hey y’all! It’s been a long while since we posted, but we have some good news for you. Pack Elephant has officially re-opened for business! It’s been a long and hard 6 weeks as we moved (again!) to a temporary space, reorganized and assessed next steps. Thanks so much for your patience. We interrupt our Motivational Monday to wish you all a Happy Juneteenth!

Juneteenth, an annual commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States after the Civil War, has been celebrated by African Americans since the late 1800s. in 2021, President Joe Biden signed legislation that made Juneteenth a federal holiday.

Today we are reflecting upon the evolution of the meaning of freedom as we look at certain moments in this nation’s past and present, and the new reignited fire under the Black Lives Matter movement.

Most importantly, today we celebrate our Black community - celebrate the freedom and celebrate the joy 🖤✊🏾

Happy Feature Friday! This week, we're featuring Pride Socks 🏳️‍🌈🧦

Founder and CEO Rachel has always had an obsession with socks ever since they were a kid. Born and raised by Deaf parents, and being one of five siblings, job opportunities were limited as was their family income. Matching and hole less socks became a hot commodity and Rachel's obsession was born.

However, the challenges Rachel and their family faced only bonded them closer, which established Rachel's appreciation for diversity in others. Rachel loved the idea of creating old school tube socks (ignited by her brother who had started a tube sock company at this time) but Rachel also wanted a brand that would celebrate the uniqueness of people as well as capture a sense of pride. Harvesting the natural power people have within themselves, Pride Socks not only is a throwback to the past but a visual reminder of opportunities that wait in the future.

Rachel says it best: "At Pride Socks, we believe when people are proud of who they are, where they are and what they do in life, they can and will accomplish their dreams. With that, I am proud to be the heart of a company that encourages and supports individual freedom and expression."
