February Grand Rapids MQG Meeting. Dave won the bird block lotto blocks (March is spring theme, light background, 8.5-12.5”). Then we did the color of the year challenge (March - spring themed swap, bring in a finished item with a treat, make sure it’s wrapped). Then we did milestone marker and show and share. Finally a group of us went out for dinner at Beer City Bread Company.

December Grand Rapids Modern Quilt Guild meeting. We had 16 quilts donated over the course of the year that will be going to the YWCA Women’s Shelter. Big thank you to everyone who helped make that happen! We also had fun with left, right, center and the gift exchange. We ended up for drinks at Bobcat Bonnie’s afterwards.

Made separates for the Morpeko - Hangry Mode costume and drafted my own pattern using his pjs as reference. Wish the shirt was just an inch longer, but overall pretty happy with it. Also made the hoods after the kiddos were in bed.

My daughter’s Glaceon costume fit perfectly. Just need to hem sleeves and legs and add a tail and make the hood. Next up...

My daughter’s Glaceon costume fit perfectly. Just need to hem sleeves and legs and add a tail and make the hood. Next up is Hangry Mode Morpeko for my son. I need to scale up my favorite pattern first though.
