We will be hosting an Elestrals Suntrike Set Celebration on Sat. June 20th. Starting at 2 pm, join Dustin as he leads the event. There is an entry fee of $5 (cash) per person. These are elevated casual events focused on playing the latest cards and giving players a taste of friendly Elestrals TCG competition. Sunstrike Set Celebrations utilizes a unique format that we call “Sunstrike Starter Plus”, which is designed to be accessible for new, returning, and veteran Casters alike. Casters can use any card released in Divine Champions — Sunstrike as well as any card that was printed in a Starter Deck from Divine Champions — Firestorm and/or Divine Champions — Lifestream. If you have a Starter Deck from one of these sets that you love playing, bring it along, and see if you can power it up with some new cards from Sunstrike! All Casters who participate in a Set Celebration tournament will automatically earn 10 Qualifier Points for the 2027 Elestrals Championship Series. The Set Celebration Champion will also earn this incredible Full Art Dragallus playmat! Come and join in on this new exciting game!

Local writer Kenny Porter () is writing the mini-series Superman: Father of Tomorrow from DC Comics & is leading off this week's New Comic Book Day! Did You Hear About Mimi Green? from Dark Horse Comics! Dynamite Comics kicks off the first issue of Lilo & Stitch 626! Doomquest begins from Marvel Comics this week! Wiccan & Hulkling: Raid of Ultron one-shot is also out from Marvel! BRZRKR: Light Draws Breath & Life & Death of Lucas Dreamwalker begin BOOM! Studios! All this and plenty of other 2nd issues this week such as Diablo: Dawn of Hatred (Titan), Abattoir Six (), Planet Atmos (Mad Cave Studios), Co**se Knight (Image Comics), & The Hab ( Idea!). All this & Tom Hutchison from will be on hand!

Murder Drones: Home by Oni Press is a one-shot that starts off this week's New Comic Book Day! delivers a 4 issue mini-series titled Killswitch! Marvel Comics kicks off a new mini-series as well with Ultimate Impact Reborn. James Tynion IV & Image Comics produce a new 9 issue series titled Odin as we as the first of 4 issues mini titled Of The Earth by Chris Condon & Charlie Adlard! We also have 2 new series from IDW Publishing: Seven Wives, a detective story. IDW also brings back Zorro written by Howard Chaykin & Jorge Fornes! Babylon Cove is a new 5 issue mini-series from Mad Cave Studios! The first issue of Absolute Green Arrow drops courtesy of DC Comcs!

Join us for our first ever All-Day Gaming Event! On Saturday, June 6th starting at 11 am and going until 9 pm, Michelle, Derek, & various guests will be here teaching board games from both our library and from local companies! Marc Specter from Grand Gamers Guild will be here from 11a-1p showing off his games such as The Fog! Other games include 12 Rivers, Wavelength, Plunder, Catan, Dominion, Toy Battle, Sea Salt & Paper, Take Time, Captain Sonar, Calico, Azul & more! This is a Free Event for ages 12+! Young people between 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult during this event! All games will be 20% off this day as well! Please come in & join in on the fun!

Our next Comic Book Trivia Night will be on Saturday, May 30th starting at 6 pm. There is an entry fee of $5 cash per person donated directly to the League Of Enchantment Michigan! Come in, join a team and show off your comic book knowledge. Prizes will be given away during this event!

Spectacular Spider-Man: Brand New Day from Marvel Comics is on the new releases shelves this week. A new 4 issue mini-series, Hidden Spring, begins from Dark Horse Comics! Destination Kill is a new mini-series from Oni Press! Tisena is a 6 issue mini from ! releases 2 new first issues: Innards & Showdown! Godzilla vs Texas in a new one-shot by IDW Publishing! Megalith: An Olympus saga begins this week from Bad Idea!

We have another round of Blood on the Clocktower happening this Saturday, May 16th! Starting at 5 p.m, Wes, Mitch, & Russ will lead this game of bluffing with a good vs evil objective & overseen by a storyteller. It plays 5-20 people & can last from 20-120 minutes. It has been nominated & won several awards! Come on in & join in on the fun with the free event!

The Elestrals Prerelease Event is being held here on Saturday May 16th starting at 2 pm. There is a fee of $30 cash to join. Sealed starterdeck format, prizing is based on how many people show up but will include a mat. Participation includes a starter deck as well as tournament packs. Come and join in on the fun! Seats are filled on a first come, first serve basis!
