🌿 TESTER CALL! BellaDonna & Vesper🌿 [OPEN]
If there’s one thing we know, it’s that history repeats itself. Belladonna and Vesper understand that better than most.
As someone from a family who still masks to help minimize the spread of deadly diseases, this Plague Couple means so much to me. They’re my reminder that caring for your community isn’t new — it’s timeless. It’s about health, consideration, and protecting the people around us.
Belladonna and Vesper live in a world shadowed by illness. Science wasn’t what it is today, but they weren’t foolish. They understood that clean air mattered. That quarantine slowed outbreaks. That covering your face during airborne illness reduced spread. Their methods weren’t perfect — they didn’t have modern medicine or modern research — but they grasped the heart of prevention.
Belladonna packed her mask with herbs believed to purify the air and covered herself head to toe to reduce exposure. Vesper carried his steady “don’t touch me” stick, gently reinforcing distance when needed. Together, they marked doors for quarantine, delivered supplies, shared knowledge, and tended to the sick with steady hands.
They worked tirelessly for their friends, families, and neighbors — often at great personal risk. They witnessed loss. They tried to treat the untreatable. They kept going anyway.
To me, they represent something simple and powerful: prevention is an act of care. Community health has always depended on ordinary people choosing to protect one another. 🌿
