We are only 6 days from our grand opening!!! We are so excited to be able to now offer top of the line watches and watch repair services. Scott from Towan Timepieces is so incredibly knowledgeable, and we are very lucky to be partnering with him. He is bringing a gorgeous sampling of vintage watches that he restored. If you love watches, stop on by and check out all the fantastic pieces we will have on display. Our opening ceremony is at 10 am this Saturday, and we will be open until 6 pm. If you have any pieces you would like Scott to look at, feel free to bring them by.

Hi Everyone,
We have been getting some questions about our appraisal services at the event. We have partnerd with Geer Gemological Services to now be able to offer top quality gemological services to the north shore!!!

We have 2 options available.
First is at our opening event we have 14 half hour appointments available. The appraiser will then do the appraisal right infront of you. The first appraisal is $250 and each following appraisal is $150. He is also also offering gem identification at $50 per item.

The second option is you can drop off your item(s) at the gallery, and we will get it appraised for you. We would then arrange a time for pick up when the appraisal is finished.

If you need appraisals for insurance, or just want to get more expert information on your pieces call 218-370-0756 or message us here to book an appraisal.

About the Appraiser
Jacob Geer, GIA Graduate Gemologist and Certified Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA), brings a lifelong passion for gemstones and jewelry to his work. Since completing his formal training at the prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad, California to become a Graduate Gemologist in 2017, he has gone on to obtain additional training and appraisal credentials to become a Certified Gemologist Appraiser with the American Gem Society, a Certified Member of NAJA, and an Accredited Senior Gemologist with the Accredited Gemologists Association.

Jacob has immersed himself in all aspects of the jewelry and gemstone industry during his career. After starting in the luxury jewelry and watch market working in sales at premier jewelry stores in the Twin Cities metro area Jacob transitioned to appraisal work for auction, liquidation, and wholesale markets during the pandemic. His varied professional experiences have afforded direct knowledge of jewelry design and repair, precious metals refining, gemstone refurbishing, curating estate collections, and more.

Jacob now draws on these varied experiences and a rich network of gem and jewelry industry contacts to serve individual and retail clients as a full-time jewelry appraiser and personal jeweler. He stays abreast of industry, market, and pricing trends and appraisal best practices by attending major industry shows and pursuing continuing education through professional conferences and webinars. He is committed to staying current on the latest research and technological advances in the field of gemology to provide clients with trusted services that exceed expectations.

In his spare time, Jacob enjoys hunting for rocks and minerals, metal detecting, visiting state and national parks, and learning about the history of gemstones and jewelry.
