Apparently, Death Cab For Cutie isn't really Jen's jam. She's more likely to be found listening to something that causes concern from the neighbors than indie rock.

That said... give the feral baker a stack of sugar cookies, some royal icing, and a mildly unhinged level of determination, and she'll happily spend hours recreating an album cover she may or may not have ever voluntarily listened to.

Music taste? Questionable.

Cookie decorating skills? Pretty darn cool.

Normally this is the time when Jen pops out of the snack cave to reveal next week's menu.
However, next weekend we're taking the weekend off to celebrate Domingo's nephew graduating from high school. 🎓

Don't panic. No one is being abandoned without snacks.

While we're away, Jen will be busy plotting, scheming, and making an unreasonable amount of fudge and cookie dough to make sure we're fully stocked for All Fudged Up at Yankee Doodle Days at Jaycee Park on June 13th. 🇺🇸🍪

The full event menu is coming soon. But we can confirm there will be ALL of your favorite lunchbox treats, some cookie surprises, a rather large variety of fudge, some fun swag AND a limited number of Gluten Friendly and Sugar Free items available.

Enjoy the next week, celebrate the graduates in your life, and prepare yourselves. The snack invasion resumes June 13th. 😈🍫🍪

Friendly heads-up from your neighborhood feral baker:
If Jen seems slightly less personable than usual at The Collective today, it's because she spent most of the night supervising her cat, Princess Leia, after a seizure decided to interrupt everyone's sleep schedule..
The good news: Princess Leia is resting. The bad news: Jen is currently operating on approximately three brain cells and pure spite.
Please approach with coffee, avocado toast, or both. These offerings may significantly reduce the chances of being gently growled at.
As always, the snacks are baked, even if the baker is only partially functional.

Thanks for understanding last week when the overwhelm finally caught up to Jen. Apparently “relax and heal” is a full-time job when your natural state is all gas, no brakes and fueled entirely by caffeine and chaos.

But the feral baker has emerged from her blanket cocoon and this week we’re bringing back the menu we originally planned… Pre-orders are preferred. It will help our feral one legged baker keep things organized

Jen, your local feral baker behind the curtain of sugar, caffeine, and emotional instability known as All Fudged Up, is taking a mental health break this week. Turns out even raccoons in human form need to crawl back into their blanket nest occasionally and hiss at the world in silence.
No menu. No fudge. No cookie chaos. Just me attempting to recharge what little battery life remains after surviving life, adulthood, and whatever this month has been.
I’ll be back next week with more snacks, more nonsense, and probably at least one questionable flavor choice.
