I stopped by this store last week while on vacation (holiday). I didn't get the employee's name, but he was very helpful and friendly. If in Inverness, and interested in Warhammer Age of Sigmar , I fully recommend this shop.

From time to time, when I order a model from an Etsy maker, they'll pack in a separate, smaller, model. I'm not really sure why the do this, but I'm glad they do...it allows me to change things up when I don't feel like painting my normal stuff. In this case, I ordered a sorcerer model, and the builder put this in. So, for a change of pace, and to practice pastels, I spent a few leisurely hours painting this little cutey:

*I held it up intentionally so you can see it's only slightly larger than my thumbnail.

I've been working on this one off and on for a couple weeks. I started to use the GW color scheme, but decided I didn't like it and the figure got placed on a shelf. Once I made the decision to use my own scheme I got a renewed interest in it. I think the military uniform look makes him look less...foppish. In retrospect, I wish I'd have put a different head on him...one with a commissar hat.
