There's no place like Fruita Fall Festival!
Did you know that the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce has hosted the Fruita Fall Festival for nearly two decades? For those of you who don't know, the Fruita Chamber team has always been a small team of 2-3 dedicated staff and a plethora of volunteers over the years. The Fruita Fall Festival is one of the largest events in Western Colorado and the largest event hosted in Fruita with an estimated 50,000 visitors over the weekend.
Over the years, things have changed. What started out as the Hunters Roundup and harvest festival, has now evolved into the Fruita Fall Festival. We understand that growth can also include some growing pains, and we want our local community to be involved in the planning process of this 107-year-long event. This beloved Fruita event has seen generations of our families, neighbors, and friends. We want to continue that legacy and honor what makes Fruita so great. Our people! This is our celebration and we want our community's input on how we can help create the "good ole days" feel we all know and love for our Fall event.
It takes a village, and we are seeking help from our village! Please attend our planning committee meetings to help be part of the discussions, planning, and implementation of what makes the Fruita Fall Festival so special. The next planning committee meeting is Tuesday, May 24th at the Fruita Civic Center.
If you would like to be involved, you can message us directly on social, email [email protected] or call 970-858-3894.
