Bicycle shop inventory for sale.
After over forty years, I decided to retire and closed Wayne Cyclery the summer of 2021. I have sold all but a couple of the new bicycles, but have over 200,000 retail dollars in remaining repair parts inventory for sale, as well as many old stock and used items no longer on inventory. Also the tools and equipment needed to operate a successful bicycle shop. I would be willing to sell at a greatly reduced price to the right party to help set up a bicycle shop.
This would be a wonderful opportunity for the right person to open a bicycle repair shop in the Grand Island area, or anywhere for that matter.

The 2021 annual Junk Jaunt which draws large crowds from all over the country will be coming back this weekend for it’s 18th year and there will be more than 50 stops in Grand Island including Wayne’s Cyclery.

We will be stop 2 on the Junk jaunt September 23-26. I’ll be selling my collection of old Schwinn, Raleigh and other bikes and parts. Also lots of old posters and advertising stuff. Lots of old memories and great deals!

April 15, 1981.... Forty years ago today I made a life changing decision and moved from Lincoln, managing Freewheelin Bike Shop, to Grand Island to open my own business Wayne Cyclery.
The time has come for me to make another life decision and announce my retirement. Details will follow in the coming days.
