P2P Racing continues to lead in high-performance Subaru builds with their closed-deck blocks and 11mm main studs featured across multiple engine platforms, including the EJ and FA series. These components are precision-machined, using seasoned OEM case halves reinforced with billet closed-deck inserts and pinned mains for superior strength and stability under extreme conditions—ideal for high-boost and high-RPM applications.

While current models like the EJ25 Stage 3.5+ and FA24 Stage 4 highlight 14mm headstuds and advanced oiling systems, the 11mm main stud design remains a core element in ensuring main cap rigidity. All engines are fully blueprinted and balanced to exacting tolerances (within 0.0001”), showcasing P2P Racing’s commitment to race-proven reliability and craftsmanship.

The P2P 11mm main studs are now available for the broader market. Want 2.5x the clamping force over stock case bolts? How bout 2x over the ARP case bolts? Matched with our pinned mains and main tunnel machining, we have the best EJ program on the market. This motor is being sent overseas to compete in the Taiwan open. If everything goes well we should see a 7.xx pass :)

Why do you need these case studs? Over 600 ft*lbs of torque, the mains can bend, slide, and pull apart. This causes the oil pressure to drop in the mains and thus reduces the oil pressure in the rods. This reduction in oil pressure in the rods, is at the moment when they most need it. This upgrade is cost effective and the studs are completely reusable.

Closed deck is superior to sleeving on a Subaru. We have pushed the stock sleeves with our closed deck to over 70psi of boost and well into the 1400's whp. If your closed deck has proper depth, and compression, the hoop stresses in the cylinder are relieved to the outer case through the closed deck. Our closed decking process actually increases heat transfer from the cylinder into the coolant by increasing surface area to the coolant and having minimal flow restriction. For a Subaru, there's no reason to run a sleeve over a closed deck unless you're trying to reman an engine. Pic for attention, yes we built that.
