A semi-regular reminder that we are always buying record collections big and small for Deadly Wax in Granada Hills.

We pay competitive, fair prices in cash or store credit and we love helping old records find new homes. Especially nice when we can help keep good music in the neighborhood.

For decent-sized collections, I’m happy to come to you. You’re also always welcome to bring records by the shop on Chatsworth St. — we’re there every day except Mondays and always happy to take a look.

We pay fair, competitive prices and are looking most genres of LPs and 45s. We can also buy cassettes and CDs when included with records, though we typically don’t make separate trips for those alone. We are happy to buy entire collections so you don’t have to be stuck with leftovers.

We do well with most genres except for classical, big band, musicals / broadway, and older pop vocal (Andy Williams, Johnny Mathis, etc.)

Thursday May 28th, join us for an evening listening party for the new Boards Of Canada album! We’ll open the store back up at 7:30 PM and kick off a full album listen at 8 sharp. We will have copies of the LP to sell early that evening before its release the next day. More info to come!

We had BIG FUN today, we saw y’all having BIG FUN out there, we watched so many impressive stacks walk out at the nice price, and we will *definitely* do it again soon.

There’s something really special about watching the good times spill out of the shop and onto the street. We’ve seen it at the Jazz Nites, with last night’s art event, and certainly today. Our good friends at and have been making this happen too, and the community that turns up for these events keeps it all going. I truly believe we are building something special on this block and I’m just so happy to be here.
