🚚🌟 Food Truck Championship of Texas Parking Reminder 🌟🚚

As we get ready to welcome thousands of visitors to downtown Graham for another incredible Food Truck Championship of Texas weekend, we kindly ask for your help.

Parking on the interior of the downtown square will be restricted beginning Friday, June 5th at noon.

Please remove any vehicles parked on the inside of the square before noon on Friday.

We know moving your vehicle may be an inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation. Events like this bring tremendous energy, tourism, and support to our local downtown businesses. These events simply wouldn’t be possible without the support of our downtown merchants, property owners, residents, and community members.

One of the more common questions we are asked is "how MUCH whiskey (ie-spirits) can an American citizen distill at home legally?"

And the answer is ZERO. 0% is legal to distill at home.

Now, you can make wine and beer at home because they are simply fermented and not DISTILLED, which is a process of boiling a fermented liquid to capture the alcohol vapors and cooling them so they turn back into a liquid and thus become a distilled spirit like vodka.

Why is homebrewing legal but home distilling is not? Well, that's a very good question, and one that may soon be answered based on a recent court decision. The short answer: it's dangerous. The shorter answer: it's hard to tax.
