Good morning and Happy Thursday everyone! The sun is shining bright and we are ready for a great day! We are open from 1pm-5pm today. Our pre-loved books are Buy 1 get 1 50% off ( equal or lesser value). Its a great time to stock up on some favorites. We hope you all have a wonderful day!

Just so everyone is aware, we will start discounting everything next week, the 27th of May. Please, please, please use up any outstanding gift cards, I do not want anyone to miss out. They will be good up until closing day on the 26th of June.

Good morning, this will be a bit lengthy, so I apologize now. Lots of info coming!

With heavy hearts, we have decided that once our lease is up the end of June, we will not renew, meaning we will be closing our doors. There are a few reasons for this decision, 1. FINANCES, this encompasses so much, but mostly boils down to we are not bringing in enough sales to pay all of our monthly expenses. This is largely due to the economy, it is a very difficult time for so many. Plus being in the area that we are, it is even harder. As much as we love what we do, we need to make sure our family is taken care of and it has strained our family tremendously trying to keep our doors open. And unfortunately, that is a reality that we needed to consider moving forward. 2. CONSISTENCY, with both of us needing to work to keep a roof over our head and food in our bellies, it is very difficult to maintain consistent store hours for our customers, which becomes frustrating for all of us. Which in turn affects sales and consistent traffic.

We have been so blessed to meet so many other book lovers and truly made new friends. This is definitely the hardest part for us is to disappoint the ones who loved being able to buy local and just seeing the joy on people's faces when they walked through our doors. That is what we will miss the most. All of you!!!

Our last day open will be Saturday June 26th. As we draw closer to that date, we will be having discounts on not only books, but also on all of our decorations, bookshelves, rugs, tables, chairs, everything, so please keep an eye out for lots of posts and updates to get some great deals from now until June 26th.

We truly thank everyone so much from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support we have received. You are the best community!! Don't ever stop reading, and remember there are amazing places to get books in our area, please continue to support them, they are amazing. Happy dreary Wednesday book besties!! I hear the sun is coming out later, fingers crossed!! We will be open this week Wednesday through Saturday 1-5. We are still running our buy one USED book and get another USED at 50% off. Lots left to choose from. Hope to see you there!

It's graduation weekend in our house, what is everyone else up to this weekend? We are hoping for some sunshine, but we never know in this neck of the woods. Don't forget we will be closed to honor our amazing son and to celebrate his accomplishments at graduation. One more to go!! We hope everyone has a beautiful weekend, spend it with loved ones and make memories!!

Don't forget we have this beautiful basket full of goodies that we are raffling off June 1st. The proceeds for this raffle go towards the cost the mission trip to Zambia that my wife will be going on in July. This is a health/faith mission that my wife takes part in with other local north country members. They help provide eye, dental, vitamins and other basic Healthcare needed in remote parts of Zambia. This is an amazing cause. Tickets are $5 each. Thank you all for your continued support.
