Silicone is our most complicated chemical compound. The environment has to be just right… temperature, humidity, particle debris in the atmosphere. Our team pours it by weight and volume depending on the size of the project, rotocast or brush pours, and when applicable, they mix another foam compound as a filler which can be found within our severed extremities.
After that has set and cured, then comes the trimming of fl**ge, blending of seams, and adding flat backed nubs. We then hand paint each piece with a combination of process’s. Some include airbrushing, finger painting, and classic brush.
The final, and debatably most meticulous part of the process is punching Hair. One by one.
