You told a story! It’s Wedding Tip Wednesday and let’s chat about it being okay to tell a story through your stationery. One of my favorite trends in wedding stationery is when the invitation becomes a part of the wedding experience-not just an announcement. Think personal details that reflect your journey like favorite locations, custom maps, city skylines and such. This Nashville themed design gives guests a glimpse of what’s to come on your big day. It can also serve as a keepsake and you can carry the design elements into your pieces like your menu, signage, place cards and most definitely, the thank-you!

The best invitations don’t just share the details, they tell the story. It’s not just paper.

A beautiful detail that does double duty.

One of my favorite ways to add personalization to an event is by transforming enclosure cards into place cards. Each name is hand-lettered with care, creating a thoughtful detail that not only guides guests to their seats, but also becomes part of the overall design story. Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest impression.

It can also serve as a great take-a-way for your guests! Remember, it’s not just paper.

Meaningful message. It’s Wedding Tip Wednesday and let’s chat about unique gifting for your bridal party. When chatting about wedding invitations, the conversation will cover a myriad of topics. Gifting is often a subject. Naturally, I suggest beautiful paper, and in my last interaction, guest towels were added to the mix.

A set of monogrammed guest towels paired with corresponding stationery. Add a handwritten message to complete it. Curated and meaningful.

Not just paper. I was sorting some invitations and came across this classic. It’s a program fan from a wedding past…actually 2014! It made me smile and I still remember this lovely couple. I was just getting started in this paper game. So, as the kids say, “I’m not new to it, I’m true to it.” I don’t even know if that’s right! Let me stop trying to be groovy and hip!

I love paper. All of it. The trends. The classics. Doing what YOU love, but keeping in line with etiquette. Customers that become friends. Customers that become repeat customers, and the ones that become friends. Sharing my love and knowledge of stationery. It’s not stationary. Also, it’s not just paper. Not to me.
