For those unfamiliar, Good Hart, Michigan happens to be one of the midwest’s most treasured resort areas. Nestled along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan, Good Hart boasts beautiful beaches, amazing landscapes, and the best sunsets outside of Key West! It is also home to our quaint, 1934 general store where you will find a post office, deli, bakery, real estate office, and general grocer, and much more all in one tiny little building on North Lake Shore Drive (M-119). Deli, bakery, general merchandise, provisions, U.S. Post office, real estate sales and rentals, lost dog return, photo opportunity, and community gathering place. Devil’s Night 2026 is one for the books. It’s with unwavering enthusiasm we announce that Michigan’s Tunnel of Trees M-119 is now entirely open between Harbor Springs and Good Hart!

A genuine thank you to the MDOT North Region Crew (Ga***rd) who spearheaded this unprecedented soil erosion control operation. In just 9 short days, road crews from Roscommon, Wexford, Otsego, Emmet, and Cheboygan counties joined forces in successfully reenforcing our favorite twisted turn along the Tunnel of Trees. No haunts here. Only happy honks as the last crews departed, “Road Closed” signs in tow.

Tomorrow, 10/30 at 1:30 in Downtown Harbor Springs - experience the annual Halloween parade of elementary students. It's all the feels you expect - classic Harbor Springs. 🧡🖤🧡

The Harbor Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the individual pictured below. He was wearing a sweatshirt with “Torch Lake” printed on the front and is sought for questioning regarding an incident in Harbor Springs this morning.
