One of the hardest parts of being part of a downtown community is watching neighbors move on to their next chapter.

While we’re sad to see leave Center Street, we know they’re making big moves and can’t to see what’s next!

Today we exchanged “see you later; not goodbye!” gifts cause the storefront may be changing, but they’ll always be a part of the downtown community we’ve all built together!

And I personally can’t wait to use this dish soap! How cool! 🥰

Still processing everything from Launch Wayne….

Many of you may know Tryston and I needed to learn a thing or two about a thing or two when we had this crazy idea to re-open the shop.

Over the last several months, we got a front row seat to the kind of talent and determination Goldsboro holds. We watched moms balance babies and business plans. We watched classmates source and ship vehicles from across the world just to bring something unique home to our town . Being surrounded by that kind of passion changes you.

We’re incredibly grateful to have placed 3rd, but even more grateful for the people we met, the mentors who poured into us, and the reminder that Goldsboro’s greatest resource has never been buildings or businesses but people willing to dream here, build here, and invest here.

My mom taught me that love is more than making something beautiful: it’s making people feel welcomed and seen. She poured into our family cup with intention for kindness, talent, and imagination.

This shop exists because of her influence, her encouragement, and the example she sets every single day. But honestly, as big, wonderful, and important as it’s grown, it’s still such a small reflection of the wonder this woman creates simply by being in the world and loving as deeply as she does.

Today we celebrate all mothers, but especially mine and her mother who shaped her before me because so much of what she poured into my life was first lovingly poured into hers.

Mom, thank you for teaching me how to create with heart and to love as hard as you do.
