Books are going out today.

However, big changes are coming.

If you have a subscription or recurring order set up, it will be canceled/refunded this weekend.

My life season right now calls for lots of time with my family and doing things that does not require inventory, shipping, and marketing outside of my normal activities. I am no longer working fully from home and I do not have the time or space to do what I was doing with this business.

Please know this was not decided on quickly and I do not take it lightly. But I need to do what’s best for me and where my family is in this time.

I will still be doing apparel and drinkware, along with other digital products (especially for teachers and substitutes). Plus book reviews and recommendations. But it may be all condensed to my personal social media and the website. Less spaces and places to help me keep my head on straight.

There may be another year that it works to start this back up. That’s just not right now

This book captured me from the beginning. I loved the realness of the characters and what they were going through, plus, well, the mystery.

Even though I guessed a lot of it, it didn’t deter me or make the story any less compelling.

The setting was wonderful and the little romantic details (between the characters AND within the story itself) were very well done.

Honestly, I just wanted more. I felt the end was a little tied up too neatly and quickly with some things just not explained enough. I wanted to know what happened with every character and every situation.

Still giving it high praises though because it had so much that I loved.

Set the Stars Alight by Amanda D***s

This one took me a while to get fully into because it’s told from two different people, in two different times. However, they do intersect in a way that unfolds in an intricate tale.

Once I got deep into the story I kind of predicted most of it. But the way it is written is a thing to cherish.

This is one of those books that will stick with me and draw me back into its fold time and time again. I loved the characters, all of them. The plot was fresh and interesting. And the setting, in both times, made a memorable impression on me.

Adventure, slow burn romance (think Bones or Castle!), mystery, lots of funny quips, and a quick enough read to satisfy even the moodiest of mood readers.
