It’s Mimosa Sunday, everyone! What are we celebrating today? A most successful event yesterday! Thank you all for attending the beautiful dinner hours with the gorgeous music of Ryan Philipart and Geoff Holloway! Just an amazing evening with you both!

Then the fabulous Cheese & Olive Oil Tastings with Keri Taylor! What an awesome job she did sharing these wonderful products in such a fun and uplifting way! It was so successful that we invited her back in the Fall for another go at it, and this one will be even bigger with a concurrent wine tasting! Life here at Old Agness Store just gets better and better!

So let’s lift a glass and toast a great day that was and the promise of more in our futures!

Guess what? Today’s the day! We’re kicking off the summer with our very first event! Sierra Nevada Cheese & Durant Olive Oil companies have joined forces to offer a fantastic Tasting Event here at Old Agness Store from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.! Keri Taylor, the foodie superstar, will be there to represent both companies, sharing some fun and delicious pairing and serving ideas.

To make the day even more special, Ryan Philipart and Geoff Holloway will be singing us a tune during dinner from 5 to 7 p.m.!

But hold on, there’s more! The summer wouldn’t be complete without outdoor dining, and that’s exactly what’s starting today at OAS! Our patio is now open for that special drink and that delicious meal, all under the sunny skies of Gold Beach!

Great news! The grant process for our Street Side Sign Post is still going strong. Just a heads-up: the application window closed when I visited on Monday, but it’s set to reopen on July 1st! This person will be at City Hall bright and early that morning! We’re hoping to snag a grant for a double-sided sign that lights up—how cool is that?

Also, we’re getting some new gutters installed on the building! Malakai!, who’s new to our area and we will be sharing more about his company soon, kicked things off yesterday and will wrap them up today. It’s looking fantastic! Thanks so much for your amazing work, Malakai!

And for all you food lovers out there! Our event this Saturday is coming together with a fantastic cheese order from Sierra Nevada Cheese, a generous supply from Durant Olive Oil, and, for the amazing variety we offer at OAS, a huge order from Rogue Creamery that includes their brand-new BluZu Blue Cheese! This one’s infused with yuzu-infused sake and decorated with yuzu peel! YUM!

The Sierra Nevada Cheese Company is teaming up with the Durant Olive Oil Company for a fantastic tasting event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday! OAS is having a Mimosa Sunday celebration! We’re offering our Classic and Signature Mimosas at a special price all day long! What’s the occasion? Steve Hikade, who runs his own irrigation and landscaping company right here in Gold Beach, is working on the OAS property as I’m writing this. He’s cleaning, trimming, and making the grounds look absolutely gorgeous, as only he can!

Before Steve even started, Dustin Tucker and son Charles pop by with trimmed cedar logs and positioned them in the parking lot in front of each parking space!! Whamm!

Come on by and see the beautification happening, and while you’re there, raise a Mimosa glass to Steven Hikade, Dustin Tucker & Charles Tucker!
