An Enchanted Fate

An Enchanted Fate Books & Jewelry inspired by fable and fate est. 2013 I create and rebind books into specialty leatherbound collector heirlooms.

I also craft journals, book wallets and tablet covers to have the old world look and feel of a book. Finding inspiration from cult classics like The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, The Neverending Story, I mostly focus on the fantasy/supernatural/magical. I also recycle books discarded from libraries, and use pages and give them a new fate and turn them into little book jewelry.

Asparagus & Flower Festival 2026 was just so amazing! I had the ✨BEST✨ visitors and we had the best weather! These things really make me the happiest, absolutely in my element! I loved talking about the alchemy of my art (because it really is like magic!) books, and had great visits with my best friend, friends from elementary school, high school, college and library patrons who became friends! Special thanks to my mom and daughter helping with set up/break down, and keeping me nourished with all things asparagus! And thanks to my sister bringing Autumn and her friend around the fair! There were so many great vendors, but I didn’t get the chance to shop! The only two things I took with me was a grow your salad planter and strawberry wine (vendor neighbors!)

May 16 10-3 and it is going to be a beautiful day! There will be lots of great food, local juried vendors, live music and more! I will also have booksleeves and bookish charm jewelry!

Saturday photos! First full day of Enchanted Orchard Renaissance Faire! I had such great talks about books and all things fantasy, ACOTAR, Crescent City and Throne of glass! I met so many wonderful creatives and it made my heart so full seeing how many were dressed up in garb! And I got to be reunited with more of my ren family (can’t wait for our next event!) I also got reunited with a good friend from high school! I couldn’t fit everyone in this post, but maybe I’ll share more to my stories! Thank you everyone who came out to the faire and stopped by my little booth, gave compliments, bought something or took a card!

Photos from the first night of The Enchanted Orchard Renaissance Faire! (The first photo of me is from Saturday, because I didn’t take many photos of myself from Friday!) I set up on Friday before the optional first night on May 1st and had so much fun and got reunited with some of my ren family! And then the full moon rose in a peachy glow and it was all just so magical! I’m still recovering and catching up on orders, but here’s some photos from Friday, May 1! More photos from Saturday and Sunday to come! Feeling so grateful for all the love shown toward my wares and booth! There were so many great costumes/garb and I feel so lucky that I get to do this as my job!

My events for the rest of the year! (Although, I started off the year with the NorthFolk Night Market event back in February!) I’m still finalizing some other possible events, but these ones I’ve already been accepted for!
First one coming up is The Enchanted Orchard Renaissance Faire this coming weekend . We would all love for you to come out and immerse yourself in the magic and revelry! So much work goes into to making all these events truly special! Escape the mundane and weave yourself into the fantasy realm…

It’s my shoppiversary today! 13 years ago (in the year of 2013!) I officially opened my shoppe on Etsy, not really knowing what to expect. And while I had read that most shops don’t see a sale for months, imagine my surprise when I had my first sale just a few days later (and second sale the next day!) I am overwhelmed with gratitude that the life I dreamed of, could only imagine, is really mine, that I get to make art through jewelry, books and other whimsical creations! And for the last (almost) 6 years, I’ve been very fortunate to have this as my full time job! This is already shaping up to be the best year yet in terms of faires. Renaissance Faires are my absolute soul dream to be vending at and I have the most set up for this year, the 13th year! I’ll do a separate post of faires (starting with next weekend, May1-3 come find me at the Enchanted Orchard Renaissance Faire in Phillipston, Ma!)
Thank you thank you thank you to all who have supported me and this dream, you all know who you are!
I took this picture of my lilac tree today (with my second floor tower studio in the background), there are sooo many buds, it made me cry in surprise of how many there are! I cannot wait to see them in bloom!

On my pointer finger is the lilac ring I made last year, paired with amethyst diamond whimsigoth ring and .jewelry rutilated quartz that glows purple!

Happy Earth Day! 🌎 🌱🌿
I try to recycle and repurpose whenever possible and am always coming up with new ideas on how to reduce materials ending up in landfills, whether it’s using the scraps of my leather to make other items or repurposing materials into something new, like these medieval inspired drawstring bags and BookSheath purses! They’re made from materials like tablecloths, curtains, placemats, hankerchiefs, and napkins! These one of a kind items (and jewelry and books!) will debut at the Enchanted Orchard Renaissance Faire May 1-3 at Red Apple Farm in Phillipston, Ma! Only a little over a week away! I have so much more to show, but these are just another little preview!

For all the ✨medieval fantasy lovers✨bohemian souls ✨enchantresses ✨who yearn to add more whimsy and magic to their lives….a few new offerings, a brocade drawstring purse, tapestry bag (it has medieval florals and pomegranates!) and a leatherbound Spellbook (with aged pages!) These bags were made with mostly thrifted materials: tapestries, curtains, tablecloths, placemats and the star with the amethyst on the spellbook was originally a brooch! I love sourcing high quality materials like these! Repurposing and weaving them together to give them a new fate and making a truly one of a kind artisan piece! Treasures to hold your treasure. And did I mention they are perfect for books? More to reveal! Bringing these along with my silver wax jewelry, BookSheaths and more to the my next event:
🏰The Enchanted Orchard Renaissance Faire in Phillipston, Ma (I will be there for all three days May 1-3!) Thankful to and for putting on this wicked magical event for its 3rd and biggest year!
✨🌛✨Friday, May 1:The Fae Masquerade of Wonder 5-9
✨🌞✨Saturday & Sunday, May 2&3 11-7

I will be posting my full list of faires soon, so if you can’t make it to this one, there will be more opportunities to peruse my wares in person, but I promise you, you will not want to miss this special event!
