Dear Friends,
After eight wonderful years inside Hometown Ace Hardware, Changing Tides Gifts will be closing at the end of 2018. Stephanie Smith, the founder, saw the opportunity to bring her creative style to life. She created a nautical gift shop catering to Cape Ann residents and visitors alike, and has been the driving force behind the success of the gift shop. Changing Tides gifts quickly became a favorite stop for so many Cape Ann Residents shopping for unique and distinctive gifts.
The name Changing Tides was chosen to allude to the ever-changing collection of special items for sale in the shop. Changing Tides can also allude to the changes in life, and Stephanie has chosen to focus her energies in a different direction for 2019 and beyond.
Even with this change, you can still expect to see the same friendly faces at Hometown Ace. No staff changes are planned as a result of this change. We will still continue to carry some of your favorite items, and will be bringing in new merchandise to serve you as well.
We would like to thank all the customers and staff who have made this gift shop a success, and to thank Stephanie for her vision and leadership at Changing Tides Gifts. We wish her well in the next chapter.
