Guess who's back? Back again?

It's been a full year...and if we had a nickel for every person who so kindly asked us when Marker Nine was making a comeback, we'd have a LOT of nickels! It really PROPPED us up over the last 12 months knowing how much it meant to us - and to you all - to proudly wear Marker Nine.

While we don't have plans to open another Marker Nine store or even do Marker Nine to the same level we had it before, we simply could not stop celebrating this community we love one shirt design at a time.

So here's what we're gonna do: launch a few new designs at a time through a new channel that gives us more flexibility on how we print and produce our work!

We're down to the final pieces of our Marker Nine inventory - a lot faster than we had anticipated (because you all have loved us so much)! We will be closing up the shop by end of next week so to help move these final items we've made the entire store 75% off. Discount taken automatically at checkout online and in-store. Way back in 2015 Marker Nine set out with one goal: celebrate this coastal life.

The endless summers. The waters. The smell of low tide…and oysters roasting. Sun-kissed skin and salty air. The sound of kiddos splashing.

There was truly no business goal set – our day jobs funded our lives.

Quickly a community grew around Marker Nine.

We wore the same tees and hoodies, stickered up our cars with the classic channel marker, shared photos of Marker Nine spottings around the world and came together whenever we could for the good of this coastal community.

Remember “Shuck You, COVID?” and all the shirts we sold to buy oysters during the pandemic? We did that – together.

Or how about that night in 2021 when we opened our storefront? You all came out in full force to celebrate and support this small business.

Without your support we would have never been able to bring Marker Nine this far.

This is, however, as far as Marker Nine will go.

After much deliberation, we’ve decided to close Marker Nine.

There’s no doubt about it. We are closing knowing that we did exactly what we set out to – celebrate this coastal life we love.

We invite you to come by the shop now through March 31, 2023 and grab up some of the final Marker Nine pieces (we’d like to think one day they will be considered collector’s items)!

We’ll still be around. Like we said, we started this Marker Nine project with day jobs…and those jobs still keep us busy and contributing to the community in other ways.
