The very last record from the collection of is officially out of my hands. While going through the collection when I got it in December, I checked every record that came through. Looking at quality and value, what needed to be cleaned, and autographs. I came across this copy of 80s Philly local music which of course included the brothers and my friends Scott Bricklin and Brian Bricklin … it was autographed by the whole band. I put it aside and did not add it to the record list. I posted online. I knew this was going back to the band. Scott lives in Paris France, and comes to Philly sometimes to play music, so I put it aside. At his US Rails show last night, I gifted him his 1986 record. It was a really sweet moment, that I know he appreciated reading the notes he wrote to Pierre. I feel good about handing it back, and giving it its full circle moment, now with a sticker and a little bit of history. Check out Bricklin as they are playing at Ardmore Music Hall next Saturday in a reunion (of sorts) show. The 80s are back! 🤘🏾 Vinyl Chickie (Record Shoppe & Other Delights)
