📚 The Mermaid, by and How To Catch A Mermaid, by Adam Wallace & Andy Elkerton
🎨 Process-based ocean backgrounds using foam rollers, toothbrushes and bubble wrap, followed by Paint Your Own mermaids tails (I supplied the tail) and then lots of collage materials to create their ocean scenes and mermaid lures using regular + glitter glue!

Tuesday is Mini Makers!
📚We started off with a couple of my favorite books: Lola Plants a Garden, and Planting the Rainbow.
🎨 Then we made hanging "gardens" and we talked about the first flowers of spring and worked our fine motor skills weaving the flowers and threading the beads on our string.

Lilacs have always been my most favorite springtime flower (can you see them in the middle here?), when I was a kid we had a huge bush on the side of our house and I was always clipping them to bring in to teachers. We don't have one at our current house, but a kind neighbor let me clip some of theirs.
