I’ve seen some concern about Aerotech reducing the number of motors they offer, but this is actually a smart move for the hobby overall.

By focusing on their most in-demand products, they can streamline production and significantly improve order turnaround times. Fewer SKUs means more efficient manufacturing, better inventory management, and ultimately getting motors into flyers’ hands faster.

It’s not about cutting back—it’s about prioritizing what works and delivering it more reliably.

Do we realy need a G75, G76, G77, G78, G79, G80?

I am sure you have seen the list of discontinued motors from AT. If there are any your fond of let us know and we will get them in stock before they are gone. You don't have to order them. Just let us know what you may want.

And I put in an order every month, so Pre-Orders are placed every month for my customers.

We put up a display at LDRS for Aerotech's space shot challenge. I put on display the new 75/10240 hardware. And the instructions to use a Firstfire igniter and the tiny tube of grease fell out of the case. Hmmm, I think you might need a tad more than that. But do you think they intend people to use Firstfire igniters for staging?? 🤔

Unfortunalty I found an issue with the script that converts PDF to SQL and updates the website. So the inventory is incorrect. Some of the part numbers are treated as strings because for instance it has a trailing P. And some are pure numeric. But the script would drop the leading zero. So when PN 092014 was converted to SQL it would not match because it was now 92014. And there actually are two part numbers, namely 77510 and 077510 that reference two different parts. I brought it to their attention and they said, oh one starts with a zero. Well OK. So I have updated the script and am checking all parts staring with zero. So until I finish, the inventory will be LOWER than it actually is. Like the I599N shows zero but a physical count shows 8. Thanks for your patience.

I heard Wildman Hobbies will not be attending LDRS. I just got off the phone with Tim and let him know if he needed to ship me pre-orders or catch his AT order and pull pre-orders from it just let me know. We all have the same goal, get them birds in the air.
