10 Unusual things you can wash in your washing machine.
1) Sport equipment (be wise and don't use hard and heavy things which can destroy your washer);
2) Yoga mats;
3) Soft and plastic toys;
4) Leather and reusable bags (be careful with your leather things: don’t use hard detergent, hot temperature, don’t use high spin cycle and dryer, if your bag has chains and metallic decorative elements unfasten them before washing, use light cream after washing);
5) Shower curtains and washcloths; 6) Beds for animals and leashes (use unscented natural detergents due to high smell sensitivity of your pet);
7) Ugg boots, sneakers, flip-flops, and slippers (for Ugg boots use delicate cycle and don’t use dryer); 8) Baseball caps and hair accessories (for small things use special laundry bag with prevents your washer from scratches and clogs);

How to take care for your glass cooktop.
1) Your cooktop shall be cleaned after each cooking.
2) Do not use scratching sponges and abrasive detergents.
3) The following things are also not suitable for cleaning glass cooktops: cleaning sprays for the ovens, stain removers, bath cleaning products or all-purpose cleaners.
4) Pots and pans sizes must match the size of the burner.
5) Heavy dirt is to be removed with a razor blade in a holder or scraper tool or with a cleaning sponge. It’s very important to hold the razor properly: do not use the corners of the blade or you can etch your stovetop. Apply cooktop cream or paste with a non-abrasive scrubbing pad working in a circular motion. Rinse the surface thoroughly and buff dry.

How did people clean their clothes before washing machines were invented? In ancient Egypt, the hieroglyphic symbol for washing clothes was two legs in the water, which meant that at the time laundry was mainly done by stamping on the clothes in the water. Washing facilities in ancient Rome were famous: fullers washed laundry in large vats filled with whitewash, lye, urine, and water. The fullers would then stamp on the clothing, wring it out, and rinse it in clean water. Only later was the use of various paddles and beaters introduced. Prior to washing the laundry was soaked in water with a mixture of animal fat and wood ash. The sailors used a rope during their distant journeys. They placed pre-soaped clothes on a rope and ran it into the water. Thus, their dirty laundry was washed by the sea itself. So, you know how to wash your clothes if your washing machine got broken. Otherwise, you can call the qualified technician to fix it.
