Thanks to everyone that attended the Fishing Show at the Cave City Convention Center this weekend! The Barren Bassmater Group do an awesome job organizing and hosting the event. If you did not make it out to the event you should consider coming out next year - it's always a great show.
I also want to give a special THANK YOU to John Combs President of the Barren Bassmaster Club for allowing the Barren County High School Bass Fishing Team Members to be there to assist vendors in setting up their areas. This is a great way for the team to meet the local fishing community.

Dalton Wilson and Jacob Autry went on a guided fishing trip today with Wes Sneed with Sneed Fishing LLC. Fishing is extremely tough during the day time right now at Barren, but we were able to round up a few. We focused on offshore ledges and searched for schools of fish. Jacob caught a real nice Largemouth. These guys fished hard all day and expressed wanting to learn new techniques so we reverted to using Alabama Rigs to catch suspended schools of hybrids. This is excellent practice having to count down to the correct depth and retrieve at just the right speed to keep it there. These boys done excellent and caught several fish today. We did not get many pictures. However; Dalton's picture here proves that when you fish hard there's no telling what you might catch!! Great Job Guys - Fun day on the water!
