Bay View Bait and Tackle is a full service bait shop, located on Little Bay de Noc. Owners Diane Carlson and Chris Wahl have been serving the fishermen of the Central Upper Peninsula for more than two decades. Bay View Bait has been voted "Best Bait shop" locally, many times. Diane and Chris are active in local fisheries issues, and have been on the board of directors of the Bay de Noc Great Lakes

Sport Fishing club for many years. Chris normally spends more than 200 days a year on the water, chasing all species of fish, all year round. Boat Launches Closed for Season
Aronson Island and North Shore

The boat launches located at Aronson Island and North Shore will be closed for the season effective Tuesday, November 4th.

Today 10,000 fall Walleyes were introduced to Little Bay de Noc. The Bay de Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishermen with the support of The Delta County, Michigan -- Chamber of Commerce, The Island Resort & Casino and Billerud North America Paper Mill support and financial help. A big thank you to everyone who supports the club’s annual banquet to make this possible!

Club members pulled numerous nets at the Oil Tank pond in Kipling yesterday. Approximately 2800 walleye fingerlings were netted and immediately released into Little Bay De Noc. It is because of efforts like these that help assist in a positive future for our local fishery.
