Huntlea is now in business!!!🎉

She is selling farm raised chicken eggs for $4.00/dozen. She loves her chickens and takes very good care of them. Almost everyone of the hens has a name but a lot of them look exactly the same to me🤔

She wants to run it like a real business. She buys her own feed and supplies with the money she makes from selling eggs. She is even charging Grandpa for eggs!!!

If you need eggs let me know and I will get you in touch with this little entrepreneur!!

She wants to hatch chicks again this year and sell them and also selling hatching eggs this spring.

She can deliver them to Gillette with given notice.

Norman the Normande

A little bonding time when Norman was a calf. He has grow significantly since this picture.

Norman is our bull that we have been raising to build a small herd of Normande cattle. He was a very sweet calf and is very docile as a bull. So docile it’s a pain in the ass to move him 🤣

Normandes do very well in our climate and have traditionally been raised in France for the famed Camembert Cheese. Being dual purpose cattle they are all really good for beef or family milk cow with minimal input.

I could geek out forever on this so I better stop here. I will try to get a current picture of Mr. Norman soon.
