Having a few thoughts today about times past. Thinking about how I started my two businesses, the work that went into each venture, and how even though I had no promise of making the rent, utilities, and budget for buy-back on stock, I went into work everyday, loyally, and knew that the energies that I put into it were necessary for a good outcome. Some people will never know what it is like to start their own business, or to have that special kind of faith it takes to start each day anew with the hopes of growing the business. Thankfully, I have had that chance, not once, but twice.
I had lots of fun running those two shops, but they did require a lot of work, and at the end of the day, I would do it all again.
They were both a learning experience in life. I am still learning new lessons. Feeling a type of freedom starting now that I have not realized before. I am truly my own boss....the captain of my own ship. I will do what I please, and will accept the consequences.
