Marvel x Magic is apparently bringing poison counters back in a BIG way

Mark Rosewater teased a new card with:
“Ward — Get five poison counters”

And considering you lose the game at 10 poison counters…
that’s kind of insane.

Poison has always been one of Magic’s most divisive mechanics, so now we have to ask:

Are you excited to see poison return…
or are we about to enter the most annoying Standard format imaginable?

Another Secret Lair leak might have just happened 👀

A customer reportedly ordered the Goblin Storm Commander deck…
and received an unreleased Hatsune Miku Commander deck instead.

The leaked commander appears to be a Miku version of Trostani, meaning the deck is likely built around tokens and lifegain strategies.

Meanwhile, the sealed deck already climbed past $3,000 on eBay before the full decklist was even revealed. 😭

Every single week our stores turn into absolute chaos in the best possible way.

Somebody’s opening the craziest pull of their life.
Somebody’s debating a banlist like it’s a congressional hearing.
Somebody came in “just to look” and left with three new deck ideas.
Somebody’s teaching a brand new player how to tap lands for the first time.

And somehow all of it exists together under one roof.

Trading card games are weird.
The communities built around them are even weirder.

Wouldn’t trade it for anything. ❤️

Lorcana's Infinity format just opened the vault.

Old cards are legal again. Old decks are legal again. And some of the strongest cards in the game's history are suddenly allowed to exist in the same 60.

Bigger combos, stronger synergies, and a meta that nobody has fully solved yet. If your favorite deck rotated out and you quietly never got over it, Infinity just gave it a home.

The real question is what you're sleeving up first.
