Mother’s Day will never be the same again as we go forward without the presence of Ethan. I’ll never forget the day he called me on the phone when he was about 9 yrs old. Very excitedly he said, “Nana! Today I asked Jesus to come into my heart!” He was soooo happy! Me too, of course! I was just thinking, what are the channels for the love of God to come in? I believe that prayer and Gods words are the highway of the Holy Spirit. I’m so ever thankful that Ethan had both. Many prayed for him and God’s word at a Vacation Bible School led him to salvation. I’m so thankful to my merciful Lord that even though He allows Satan to run a muck in this world and Ethan had battled his demons, NOTHING can take Ethan’s sweet soul away from the One who filled his heart that day with His sweet love!!! Satan can do many things to our minds and bodies (as to Job in the Old Testament) but praise God he can’t EVER have the sweet spirit of our Ethan!!! I’m so ever thankful for this peace. And of course, Thanks to my sweet daughter for getting my grandson to Vacation Bible School at a young age!!!
