The Short Story: My photo calendars will start showing up on Etsy in the next few days. I'm happy to sell them directly locally - just let me know. The cost this year is $28/calendar.
Now if you want the longer story...
Last year I had a lot of trouble with my calendars... something changed midway through printing them and some of them started fading within a month of printing. I was pretty frustrated with that.
Between that and going a little to wild printing (and being left with almost fifty unsold at the end of the year) I wasn't sure if I'd make any at all this year.
Then, thanks to stumbling on some information, I learned that the formulation of the paper I'd been using may have changed, and that may have contributed to the fading. I also learned that matte paper would be safer to print on for this application. So I just needed to find double-sided matte paper that was thick enough and would work for me.
That turned out to be a challenge. I finally found what I was looking for last week... and after spending almost every waking hour after work on Friday, all day yesterday, and after church today, my first 2026 calendar is rolling off the press as I type this.
I still need to select photos, but at the moment I have the St. Michael's calendar done, and I have all the photos collected for a St. Paul Serbin calendar and a Texas Churches calendar.
There are less than two weeks before we leave for Christmas, so I don't know how much I'll be able to get done... but I'll make as many as I can to meet the demands. Look for them to show up on Etsy in the next 24 hours or so, and if you'd like to pick one up locally (in Giddings) just let me know!
Sorry for the last-minute notice... but I really didn't want to say I was going to make them unless I was sure I could deliver.
