Jude Smith was a local icon in the Gettysburg Village for over 30 years selling moccasins and also opening the Christmas Shop. He loved talking to visitors and telling about the history of Gettysburg sharing his passion and love of the town. He will be missed in so many ways❤️Thank you Jude.

An update on Ned the Horse:
Ned needs some repairs. His leg is broken and a few of the plates that the legs were attached to that anchored it into the ground have come off. Travis Beaver and the guys at Beaver Auto Body and Collision in Waynesboro have offered to pick him up and repair him. They are the folks who restored him in 2015/2016.
I am trying to find a forever home for him where he can be fenced in and out of harm's way. There will be a historic marker and a memorial bench for Renny Allgyer and Stephanie Honodel, both who put and effort into restoring need. Once I find at a local business, I will start a fundraiser the buy fencing, bench and pay for repairs, then we can have the dedication that we couldn't have before.
