At Hedy and Company, our mission has always been to create a welcoming space where local makers, artists, and small businesses can share their talents while offering our community unique, handcrafted, and thoughtfully curated goods. Being recognized by the Village of Germantown makes this journey even more meaningful.

I wanted to start working on larger pieces, so I started with this 32"x32" piece. I finished glueing the flowers on Thursday and left it to dry on my table. On Friday, I went to check on it, and I found one of our cats laying on it. As 4 letter words were streaming from my mouth, said cat tried to run, but her feet kept spinning (think Scooby Doo). I wanted to scream.

Shockingly, not a lot of damage was done. I think I salvaged the piece and have framing scheduled. Needless to say, I made an impromptu portfolio out of cardboard to protect the piece. Whoever purchases it will get a copy of my story.

You just gotta roll with it sometimes. 😆

As we head into the week of July 22–25, we simply want to say thank you. We truly couldn’t do this without you. ❤️

🛍️ Wednesday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🌿 Saturday: We’ll be open during the Center Street Market in the Historic District of Downtown Germantown from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The market will fill the street right outside our front door, making it the perfect morning to shop local, explore downtown, and discover something special.

📣 Shop Update

We wanted to let everyone know that Hedy & Company will be closed on Saturday, July 18.

Closing on a Saturday is never an easy decision. For a small business, weekends are incredibly important, and every sale helps support not only our shop but also the many talented local artists, makers, and small businesses whose work fills our shelves. Your support truly makes a difference, and we don’t take that for granted.

If you were planning to visit, we’d love to offer another option! We are happy to schedule private shopping appointments or private workshop experiences at a time that works for you.
