Coming up this Saturday: Printing Textiles Workshop!
Join me for a creative morning and learn how to print on fabric! Students will hand-carve their own stamp design and have the opportunity to print a cotton tote bag and tea towel to take home. You will learn all the skills needed to continue printing textiles at home to create your own baby onesies, upcycled clothing, cloth napkins and more!

April 11th, 11:30-1:30 at the Georgetown Art Center: 816 S Main St, Georgetown

I’m excited to share that The Georgetown Collection will be on exhibit at City Hall in Georgetown from April 7-July 6!

On April 17th, I’ll be at City Hall demonstrating my process from 4-8pm as part of Georgetown’s spring Art Stroll! Come by to see how the artwork is made!

Or come to the exhibit reception on April 21st at 5:30 and enjoy refreshments as you view the collection!

This collection of handmade linocut artwork features my favorite Georgetown locations - small businesses & landmarks that are loved in our community! Each piece is made completely by hand. I hand carve a linoleum surface to create a relief, roll ink onto the surface, and then paper is hand pressed into the ink to create each print. It’s a slow process, but 100% worth it!

Join me for my next printmaking workshop this Saturday, March 7th, from 11:30-1:30 at the Georgetown Art Center

This workshop was a favorite last semester! We will be working on a smaller scale in this class, giving each student enough time to carve a few mini stamps and print several small notebooks (3”x5”). Carving small stamps is fun and low pressure; no need for perfectionism since you’ll have time to try again! Not only is this an enjoyable project, the notebooks also make great little gifts and the stamps can be reused to print greeting cards and more!

Southwestern University is complete! I hope current students, staff, and alumni will enjoy this print as it takes them back to great memories of their time at Southwestern! I loved making this design - especially carving the tower and dynamic, Texas, clouds!

My 2025 Christmas card design is here! The handmade print features the moment when angels announce the Good News of Christ’s coming to the shepherds as they watch over their sheep. Light fills the sky and the shepherds look on in wonder as the angels proclaim, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men”. The scene is framed as if it were in a church window. Each card is printed by hand from a hand-carved linoleum plate - making each piece an original. Printed in shimmering gold oil-based ink on handmade white paper with a deckled edge.

McIntire’s Garden Center is one of my favorite spots in Georgetown. I often go there just to enjoy being surrounded by so much life and beauty! There are little treasures tucked away in every corner so it was impossible to choose just one view for this print. And though I do love the simple black and white print, I couldn’t resist creating a version with some color added with watercolor paints!
