THE SOUL OF UKRAINE
🌿 Kiev, Ukraine. On September 28th, 2013 was created the largest photograph in Ukraine known as “The Soul of Ukraine”. A unique photo panorama featured over 500 singers and musicians from Grigoriy Verevka Academic Folk Choir, Pavel Virsky National Academic Dance Group, Ukrainian Bandura Players Capella and the National Academic Folk Orchestra. On the occasion of the 5th anniversary in 2014, InterContinental, Kiev hotel is supporting the initiative of famous American photographer Sergey Melnikoff aka MFF, whose creative nature allowed to organize half a thousand of Ukraine's leading artists in national traditional costumes with music instruments for with only one purpose: for this historical unique art photograph.

THE GLACIAL LAKE. ENGILCHEK GLACIER, TIAN SHAN MOUNTAINS
🌿The highest mountain range of Tian Shan is the glacier Inylchek, conserving enormous stocks of Kyrgyz fresh water. Two sleeves of the frozen snow called Southern and Northern Inylchek.
The last one crossing the Sino-Kazakh border goes west between ridges Sarydjaz and Tengry Tag, spreading on 30 kilometers. Glacier area – is one of the hardest to reach/pass in the whole world, because its valley is situated between these mighty ridges, and its throat is closed by glacial Merzbacher lake.
With its pressed closed rows there are 6 kilometers of mountain heights of amazingly right shape and size, looking like Egyptian pyramids.

SUNSET OVER SOUTHERN CHINA
🌿The mountains of South China on the sunset shot from the balloon.
Chasing for the lucky photo shoots sometimes makes you take some serious risks.
This snapshot was taken from the height of 1km from the hot air balloon in a few minutes before dark.
👆Landing of such a balloon on the mountain area at night is as dangerous as in urban area. Sharp cliffs are no less enemy of the soft shell of this vehicle than pillars and electric wires. Here were both of these factors. Yangshaw district is densely populated and covered enough with the high voltage lines stretching to all directions.
😄 Landing of the giant balloon on someone’s garden in full darkness caused serious anger of the house’s host and cost way more than many hours flight above the fantastic terrain.

THE DEAD CITY. CRIMEA, UKRAINE

FLORIDA EVERGLADES. THE U.S.A.
🌿 American national park Everglades takes southern part of a subtropical swamp area in the state of Florida. The main territory of the park is a zone of absolute wild nature and it took its name by the famous environmentalist and a writer Marjory Stoneman Douglas. On the October 26, 1976 the territory of the park was declared as international biosphere nature reserve by UNESCO, and on the November 10 1978 large part of the park was declared as “territory of wild nature”. The park has been listed as UNESCO world heritage and 10 years after was declared as “marshy territory of international importance”.

👆 In Everglades there is an enormous amount of birds, snakes and alligators. If the last ones won’t eat you, mosquitos, which fly among the swamps of the park, will successfully do that.

🌿 Bukhara – old Uzbek city, it was in the middle of Great Silk Way from China to the medieval Europe. Few hundreds years ago Bukhara was a large centre of Islamic theology and culture. Nowadays there are hundreds of well-saved buildings (mosques, medrese, bazaars and caravanserai), which were built in a period of time between IX and XVII centuries.

Traditionally, in Riga (Latvia) on Independence Day, November 18, a torchlight procession is held , which gather about 20.000 of people. The event starts near the monument of Kārlis Ulmanis and ends nearby the Liberty statue. The organizer of this event is the right parliament party National Union "Everything for Latvia!"
The photopicture was taken on the 18th of November in 2015 from the high point of one of the bridge pylons across the Daugava river.

THE OLD ROAD. TIAN SHAN MOUNTAINS

Reaching the 4000 meters of Tian Shan Kyrgyz mountains you will see pacifying and amazing sight! Down there, in the canyon for hundreds of kilometers a beautiful river Small Naryn, which irrigates crops and meadows, giving life to people and animals. “Fatty” hills are partially covered by year-round snow and the plains are clothed by solid velvet green “carpet” – jailoo, highland pasture.

There you could live for a while among the tribes where there is still a primitive community, you could have a good sleep in shepherd’s yurt, enjoying mutton and koumiss supper. Right here, far from any kind of civilization you really learn the full unity with nature…

Khan Tengri peak is famous for its unusual picturesque and it is spreading in the mountains of Tian Shan on the border of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China. Rare mountains could be compared with such a snowy giant. The name of the peak in translation from Mongolian means “the lord of the sky” and the locals call it Kan-too.

Khan Tengri peak (7010m) – is the lord of the skies and the top which is untouchable to human – that’s what people say throughout ages about this graceful pyramide - the highest peak of the Tian Shan mountains, the western part of the Tengri-Tag ridge. The correct pyramid form of the ridge charms with its pink and gray marble facade and attracts people for since a long time ago.
