From inspiration to yarn to finished object. Last year I wanted to make a special yarn for my Aunt Kelly. She sent me some favorite photos from one of her vacations as inspiration. Here is what I came up with and her finished mittens with that yarn.

Introducing our Arkansas based collaboration with our local shepherd, . Her small flock of adorable sheep enjoy lots hand fed treats and tons of love in return for their fabulous wool.

This rustic spun 100% non-superwsh wool is a 2-ply dk weight. Available in 100g hand wound skeins. Grown, sheared and dyed in Arkansas. This is truly a local "flock to fiber" treasure! Just waiting for your next fiber project!

We have so many new things happening and it has been hard to keep up! We have new yarn bases, including a mermaid stellina, bronze stellina and a new 50/50 baby camel/silk blend. We are still getting to know these bases, so keep an eye out for new colorways.

We have a new solid as an homage to our home state of Arkansas. Watch for new yarns from our own local shepherd, Mary of . We have both white and a natural Grey base that we will be making available.

February's full moon was the Snow moon. We have one colorway on silver stellina and a very subtle colorway on the new bronze stellina.

Life has been very hectic, but shop updates should be coming soon.

Arooo!! Our first batch of Moon yarns are drying on the racks. Dyed under our first full moon of the year. The Wolf Moon reminds us to let go of what was, so we can make room for what is still to come. Here is to a fruitful new year!

I have finally finished my version of "An-tic-i-pa-tion" blanket! I am very happy with it. I know variegated hand dyed yarn isn't everyone's cup of tea. I know that my stitches are outshine by the yarn. But I wanted to showcase the work of some of my favorite indie yan dyers.

As I've have dipped our toes in to the industry, I wanted to highlight some of the amazing people who have inspired me.
