1957 Bols Ballerina bottle. This bottle contained Danziger Goldwasser or "gold liqueur", and, although still sealed, is devoid of most alcohol. There is a decent amount of the telltale gold leaf still in the bottom. The obvious feature, a dancing ballerina, still works, doing its spin moves to The Bleu Danube. The seal indicates this French made item was sealed and sold in Louisville Ky.

The item on the right is a flu cover. The print, circa 1900, is covered by glass and surrounded by tin, with a light weight tin chain.

The item on the left is a little harder to confirm. It is hand made and, based on war lore, is probably from WWII era in the southeast asian region and possibly of Japanese military origin. It is made of a cut piece of water pipe, hand shaped metal brackets, two carved wooden end pieces and a military grade canvas strap. When supplies began to dwindle, Japanese soldiers would use whatever they could find to make equipment. This could have been used to transport documents, minor equipment, or even lunch. An interesting one of a kind item.

A recent acquisition from Terre Haute Indiana. This is a crate of late prohibiton era (1927-1934) soda bottles from Clicquot Club of Massachusetts. Clicquot Club Ginger Ale was an east coast staple during the first half of the 20th century. These bottles are chip and crack free and are all attractive light green/blue glass. 16 of the bottles bear the Clicquot Eskimo on the base, while 6 have the Reed Glass emblem and 2 are other variants. The crate is sturdy and has attractive side panels with the Clicquot Club branding.

The horses and insignias are intact and, with new plug in wiring they will light up, Some wear on the frames but the flat front faces are pretty clean. Contact me for price and details as, the work I do may affect the price. If I do not sell these on the web site, they will definitely sell at Olde Timer's Antiques.

A nice assortment of license plates will be showing up at Olde Timer's Antiques in our lower level booth. Most are from Indiana and range from 1922 into the early 80's The oldest plates came off of a model A Ford truck used on a northern Indiana farm. A couple of the newer plates are Illinois vanity plates off of my dad's 56 and 62 Nash Metropolitans

A couple of recent finds going in to Olde Timers Antiques this weekend. Look for our booth in the lower level at the Bottom Of The Stairs, and our two cases in the case room. Vendor #170. Yes, this is a nice vintage pet carrier, purrfect for your 75 year old pet. No, there are no caramels included with the box, although my great grandmother had starlight mints on her table that were almost as old.

I am starting this item as a Bottom Of The Stairs page exclusive. We found this wonderful handmade table and chairs set in Southwest Wisconsin. They are perfect for American Doll or similar size dolls. It is likely the chairs and table were created at different times but they do go nicely together. The table has hinged leaves and sturdy iron legs, stands and balances easily and is of excellent construction. I would estimate this set to be 55-75 years old, but the hinges on the table may have been replaced since its crafting, or they may have just been extremely cared for. Either way this is a one of a kind additional to someone's doll or home decor collection. It currently sits in front of our fireplace (with a child's goat cart, photos coming soon!) and looks wonderful there. I would have this set at $125 in store, but it can be had for $95 if you message me.

Here are a couple of new additions to our booth at Olde Timers Antique Centre in Sandwich. Our booth is in the lower level at the Bottom Of The Stairs (see what I did there?).

A boxed set of wooden meat stamps, 79 assorted stamps and a two piece wood box. Great decorative item found in southwest Wisconsin. The stamps could also be used in arts and crafts. Asking $134.

I found the second item, a handmade potty chair, in west central Kentucky. It has bead board sides and working hinged door (the hinges look like they were replaced). The enamel bowl was added to make it complete. Besides the oddity factor, this item could be used as a planter or cabinet or both. I estimate it at 100 years old, give or take a few. Also asking $134.

Any item we offer for sale can be negotiated, and I prefer an honest counter offer from serious buyers.

This is a great cradle, found in Kentucky, north of Bowling Green. It is offered as I found it. Note the workmanship on the base. It appears to have original stain with no signs of refurbishing. I estimate the age to be pre 1900 and it could be much older. Note the side pieces are not identical. The cradle features large footrockers, front and back.

The cradle is 38" long, 16" wide and 27" wide at the footrockers. It is 21" tall. The interior is 35"x11"

This item would need to be picked up and the location would be determined by where the buyer is. I am asking $425, which I think is a great deal for the buyer, but feel free to negotiate.
