Son of a factory worker from Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. From early on, Bruce learned the value of a hard day’s work.And the importance of keeping things simple. In 1985, he brought these values—along with a

lot of youthful enthusiasm—to a small confectionary shop in Gaylord, Michigan. Here, amid quaint alpine surroundings and friendly neighbors, Bruce grew the name and reputation of Alpine Chocolat Now about that chocolate. The magic is in its pure simplicity.
