Today the boys had a delivery in Daphne. Lovely couple. The wife called the store and let me know that she was cooking a ham and baking cookies and was going to feed them lunch while they were there making it sure it was okay with me. Flabbergasted at her kindness, I said all the right things, I hope, because I was just so taken aback by this level of kindness.

When the boys returned, they were all UBER pleased. Especially Bryson, who was grinning because, apparently, he ate 4,000 cookies because “They were SO GOOD, T-Monnie.”

Now…yall know Bryson is working for free as punishment to teach him responsibility and that life ain’t no crystal stair, yada, yada, yada…

And yall out here spoiling them rotten.

And I got egg on my face because life, indeed, is full of crystal stairs when you are dealing with the right people.

Thank you so much for being so awesome and thank you doubley much for sending back food for the pantry. Your kindness was HUMBLING. Thank you thank you thank you.

One of my favorite teachers sent me a@message looking for some occasional chairs for their office. When I suggested this they were like…”No. I don’t want them to be comfortable. The chairs need to be uncomfortable.

I’m thinking Selig but I don’t know for sure yet. I will tag it as Selig and wait for the purists to pop up and give me a tongue lashing if it isn’t. Super bourgie people always know what it ain’t and thereby enjoy lording over uncouth peons, such as myself, what it actually is. Basically…I’m setting a knowledge trap in disguise. 🥸
