STAFF SPOTLIGHT: MEET SHANTEL! 🌸

Shantel has been part of the In Full Bloom crew since 2018 (with a couple short hiatus). She serves as one of our talented desigers and runs our social media (thank goodness she is back from vacation because I am not "social savvy"). Chances are you have met her when shopping or received one of her amazing floral designs. She certainly brings incredible creativity to everything she does! She and Andrea have been instrumental in guiding Amy through this adventure of owning a flower shop!!

Shantel says..."we get every aspect of reasons that a customer will come through the door to order flowers...I put my heart into every stem I pick, knowing it will brighten someone's day no matter the situation." That is truly one of the coolest parts of the floral business...we agree flowers just speak volumes in celebration and in sorrow.

We asked each staff member to answer the following questions and here are Shantel's responses:❓

1. What random talent do you have? I HIGHLIGHT & CUT MY OWN HAIR!...I DEVELOPED THAT TALENT AS A LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST FOR 24 YEARS & QUIT WORKING BEHIND THE CHAIR TO MAKE FLORAL DESIGNING MY FULL TIME GIG!✂💐 (and we are glad you did!).
2. If your co-workers described you in three words, what would they say? CREATIVE, ZANY, OVERSTIMULATED (Agreed ✅...no doubt I am responsible for the overstimulation part!!)😆
3. The most used phrase at work? OH I LOVE THIS SONG! 🎼(we cannot live without music while designing).
4. Which co-worker would survive longest on a deserted island🏖? AMY!! (5/5 it is official...I am going to try the desert island).

🌸STAFF SPOTLIGHT: MEET KELLI 🌸

Kelli comes to us with years of floral experience. She was able to jump right in during our busy times and has fit in perfectly with our crazy group ! She comes from a big family, so joining our noisy and beautifully chaotic crew hopefully felt just like home. We sure hope so because she feels like she has been with us forever! Kelli loves to stay busy and is always willing to pitch in whenever we ask for help. She offers to come in early and stay late🕤..which happens more than you'd think in a flower shop!!

We asked each staff member to answer the following questions and here are Kelli's responses:❓
1. What random talent do you have? I AM DOUBLE JOINTED! (a handy talent when wrestling large floral arrangements).
2. If your co-workers described you in three words, what would they say? RELIABLE, "SQUIRREL" AND NO-NONSENSE (Agreed!✅ the squirrel comment is so true...Kelli and Amy can get distracted by just about anything...including a passing squirrel🐿).
3. The most used phrase at work? DID YOU BRING YOUR LUNCH 🍽(our whole crew takes lunch very seriously)
4. Which co-worker would survive longest on a deserted island🏖? AMY (4/4 so far).

🌸STAFF SPOTLIGHT: MEET ALAINA 🌸

As our little flower shop has grown, so has our flower family! 💐 We knew it was time to add another talented designer to our crew, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome Alaina! She is a graduate of the JCCC Floral Design Program and has been the perfect addition to our team. We are so excited to have her talent, creativity, and love of flowers as part of the In Full Bloom family! 🌷

Alaina says: "I love flowers and getting to create for others because it allows me to be there for people's hardest days and the happiest of days...I get to bring joy to people through flowers!"

We asked each staff member to answer the following questions and here are Alaina's responses:❓
1. What random talent do you have? I LOVE TO SING 🎤(and she can do it!!!...we get to hear it sometimes...Disney songs and all!)
2. If your co-workers described you in three words, what would they say? GENTLE, FUNNY AND KIND (Agreed!✅ a perfect balance for us)
3. The most used phrase at work? "DOES THIS LOOK RIGHT?" 👀(regarding her floral designs...she is a talented young designer for sure with her traditional with a bit of whimsy flare).
4. Which co-worker would survive longest on a deserted island🏖? PROBABLY AMY (3/3 so far).
