A Bookstore in the Classic Tradition

Port Hole Books is one of the great Oregon Coast bookstores, of which there are only a few left. It is well-stocked with a great selection of books, handpicked by the owner, bestselling author, Ellen Gunderson Traylor. Ellen has been in the book business as a bookseller and store owner for 26 years, with multiple locations in Oregon and Montana. A few years ago the Florence and Gardiner, Oregon, stores were merged in Gardiner, on the grounds of Port Hole Center, a conference and event venue. (www.portholecenter.com)

Ellen was the book appraiser for Discovery.com's former appraisal site, Ask the Appraiser, and has been a Sotheby's/eBay Master Dealer in rare books. She has been an Amazon Pro Merchant since 1997. Her specialty is rare books, and she offers free book searches, special orders and appraisals. Ellen has written 20 books through multiple publishers (see https://portholebooks.com/pages/ellen-gunderson-traylor), and is now a publisher, herself, with Port Hole Publishing, headquartered in Florence, Oregon and Polson, Montana.
