I closed my Etsy shop today but I am still making quilts.

Etsy takes a percentage of all sales and also charges a monthly fee for items listed on the Etsy page. Since most of my business comes from word of mouth marketing, I decided to save a little money on Etsy in an attempt to keep prices lower for my customers.

Cost of materials will likely be rising soon and I want to protect the affordability of what I create for my customers/clients/friends.

I love sewing. I love giving your memories new life. Please reach out for your quilting needs or if you have any questions.

My first loaf of sourdough bread from my homemade starter. It wasn’t perfect but it was delicious.

Some of you might know that I’ve moved (not far). I’m slowly unpacking my fabric and putting it in the new cabinets. More than half of my fabric has been inherited by the aunties and grandmas in my life. I found this piece today. I think this particular piece was gifted from part of my great grandmother’s collection. She was something. A tiny ball of fire. Fiercely independent. Anyway, the “Fruit of the Loom” label is something I’ve never noticed before. Likely from the 1920s-1930s, before they started producing more pre-made items.
