Monday was a full day!
We started the morning with a beautiful breakfast hosted by Stampin’ Up! for all of the incentive trip achievers and their guests at our hotel. My favorite part was getting to reconnect with so many demonstrators we only see once or twice a year. It’s always fun to pick up right where we left off.
Afterward, we took a walk to meet up with Kathy and Geoff’s family for breakfast before heading off to explore Pike Place Market.
My favorite part? The flower vendors! 🌸 I honestly think I would buy fresh flowers every week if I lived here. The prices are amazing (in the best way), and the arrangements are absolutely gorgeous.
Before long, it was time to board the ship. We were shuttled to the cruise terminal and officially started our Alaskan adventure! 🚢
One fun fact is that this is the same ship we sailed on during the Norway Incentive Trip two years ago. Apparently, the ships rotate through different itineraries. It was nice to step aboard and realize we already knew our way around—much less time spent studying maps and much more time enjoying the cruise!
This is Kathy and Geof’s first cruise, so it’s been fun introducing them to cruise life and teaching them the ropes along the way.
One of our favorite things about cruising is exploring all of the dining options. We kicked things off with a delicious prime rib dinner in the main dining room on our first night onboard.
Between the time change and the excitement of travel, we've found ourselves staying up later and waking up earlier than usual. Last night, a beautiful nearly full moon was shining outside our balcony, making for a pretty magical end to the day.
Now we're off to see what Alaska has in store for us! 🏔️🦅🐋
Earning the incentive trip is something very few Stampin’ Up! demonstrators achieve—less than 1%, in fact! I’m so excited to spend the next week in Alaska celebrating this extremely rare accomplishment.
