James 1:2.... if you're like me, it's hard to "find great joy" in the midst of our hardest, darkest times. Divorce, betrayal, sickness, persecution, anger, bitterness, heartbreak, financial strain...so many things rob our joy, BUT.....our emotions are our choice. It can feel impossible to gain control over your emotions, but you have to literally FIGHT for the joy that is rightly yours! That's what faith is. Its when you choose to let the joy in your heart shine during your darkest times. People watch Christians, to see how they'll react to adversity. Show them how to overcome their emotions. Allow God to use you, to show others that there is hope. ❤
