Over the last week, I’ve been sharing something deeply personal with my closest circle, and now it’s time to share it with the community that helped make this dream possible.
Over the next few weeks, Kayson’s Candy Company will begin the process of closing our doors.
The past few years have been one incredible ride. Opening this shop and bringing my vision to life has been filled with joy, magic, laughter, and memories I will cherish forever. This space has given so many smiles to our community, and in return, it has shaped me in ways I never imagined.
But seasons change, and so do we.
As much as I love what I built here, my heart is gently pulling me toward a new chapter. One that allows me to grow, to breathe, and to fully step into the role of being a mom while honoring the woman I’ve always been: a free spirit, a dreamer, a trailblazer, and someone who believes deeply that you only get one life, and it should be lived fully and boldly.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I was longing to experience this place again through the eyes of my customers, to feel the magic instead of carrying it. And while that realization was bittersweet, it was also freeing. This journey has come full circle, and I know in my bones… it’s time to let this bluebird fly.
Please know this is not an ending, it’s a beautiful pause before what’s next. I’m currently enjoying creating window murals around town and already have plans forming for the next phase, but for now, I’m choosing presence. I’m choosing time. I’m choosing joy with my family and honoring all that I’ve worked so hard to build.
Thank you to every single person who believed in me, supported me, and walked alongside me, especially those who have been here from the very beginning. Your love and friendship has meant more than you’ll ever know.
✨ Store closing details ✨
While I do not yet know when our final day open will be, our liquidation sale will begin this Wednesday at 11:00 AM. All inventory will be reduced, and our fixtures, including the beloved frame wall, will be first come, first served.
Our last public appearance will be at the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on January 30th along side other amazing business leaders, and I would truly love to see familiar faces and share one final sweet moment together.
If you are out and about please bring your family in one last time and make a final sweet memory with us. And if you’re an entrepreneur dreaming of starting a bulk sales business, please come see me, supporting dreamers has always been one of my favorite parts of this journey.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for letting Kayson’s Candy Company be part of your story.
